English Full Episode Online…. The story of the life of Marie Curie focussing on the passionate importance of science to her, her beloved husband and the impacts of radiation, both directly and in a wider context eg Chernobyl, Hiroshima etc.
The film presents a solid enough picture of Curie's life and is made all the more compelling by yet another powerful performance by Rosamund Pike. The sections focussing on the consequences of radiation are interesting and well told but don't sit neatly enough into the narrative which works better when it concentrates on the challenges in Curie's work and private life.
